Nowadays, some businesses face problems with new employees who have just finished their education and may lack interpersonal skills such as the ability to work in a team. What do you think is the main cause of the problem? How can it be resolved?
BÀI MẪU:

Onboarding new employees has always been a challenge for businesses. This is especially true with recent graduates who may lack the social skills and teamwork ability needed to succeed in the workplace. In this essay, I will explain why I think our overly individualistic education system is the primary cause of these socially inept entry-level employees and provide a proposal for how to solve this problem.
The modern education system places an extremely high value on individual achievement, which makes it difficult for people to develop the interpersonal skills they need to thrive after entering the workforce. Outside of the rare team project, students are vigilantly patrolled for any sign ofcollaboration on most assignments. Unlike in the workplace, where teams regularly share information and know-how, schools punish students for similar behavior as “cheating”. Thus, it is completely reasonable that when students graduate and find a job, they do not know how to effectively collaborate with others. What seems to be a natural human behavior has been disciplined out of them
Although the root of the problem is clear-cut, the solution is more complex. Wholesale de-individualization of the education system is impractical at best. What we can do, however, is to increase the frequency at which students interact in groups. This will allow students to develop interpersonal skills more rapidly than they are currently able to.  The change may take a while to bear fruit, but it will undoubtedly be effective.
In conclusion, I feel that the lack of teamwork skills and related interpersonal skills is primarily the result of an educational system that undervalues teamwork. If we are able to change this by introducing more team-based tasks, students should be able to develop the interpersonal skills that will allow them to thrive in the workplace. (~300 words)
